Geography Trip - Tankerton Beach

The Year 11 Geographers visited Tankerton beach on Tuesday to complete coastal fieldwork as part of their GCSE course. Despite torrential rain initially, the students kept in good spirits whilst they completed measurements of the beach gradient and sediment size. The sun eventually came out and gave us a beautiful rainbow as a backdrop as we worked. The students showed great resilience and fantastic teamwork skills to complete the variety of tasks, after a somewhat challenging start.
